Cabo is a fast-paced and engaging card game that combines elements of strategy, luck, and quick reflexes. It is designed for 2-4 players aged 8 and up and can be played in approximately 20-30 minutes.

Objective:

The goal of Cabo is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards by playing them in descending numerical order.

Gameplay:

1. Setup: Each player receives a hand of 10 cards, and the remaining cards are placed in a draw pile in the center of the table.

2. Start: The youngest player starts the game by playing a card face up on the discard pile.

3. Playing: Players take turns playing cards from their hand onto the discard pile. The card played must be one number lower than the card on top of the discard pile.

4. Cabo: If a player cannot play a card, they must say "Cabo." The next player in clockwise order then has the opportunity to play a card. If no player can play a card, the draw pile is reshuffled and placed on top of the discard pile.

5. Scoring: When a player plays their last card, they shout "Cabo" and receive points equal to the sum of the numbers on the cards remaining in other players' hands.

Special Cards:

* 2: Wild card that can be played on any card.

* Cabo: Skips the next player's turn.

Winning:

The game continues until one player has played all their cards and scored 500 points. This player wins the game.

Strategy:

* Counting Cards: Keep track of which cards have been played and which remain in the draw pile.

* Holding onto 2s: 2s are valuable as they can be played on any card.

* Forcing Opponents to Cabo: Play cards that force your opponents to have to play Cabo, giving you an advantage.

* Blocking: Play cards that prevent your opponents from playing cards in their hands.

* Timing: Pay attention to the cards being played and try to play Cabo at the right time to maximize your points.
