Scopa, meaning "sweep" in Italian, is a classic Italian trick-taking card game renowned for its simplicity, speed, and strategic depth. After playing all the cards in their hand, the dealer deals another four cards to each player until all the cards in the deck are dealt. Scoring in Scopa involves accumulating points based on various card combinations captured during the game. The most common scoring categories are:

* Cards: The player with the majority of captured cards earns a point.

* Diamonds (Denari): The player with the majority of captured diamonds earns a point.

* Seven of Diamonds (Settebello): Capturing the Seven of Diamonds awards a point.

* Scopa: Each scopa is worth a point.

* Primiera (Prime): This combination involves capturing the highest-ranking card in each suit. The player with the highest Primiera score earns a point. The point values for the Primiera are calculated based on the following card rankings: Seven (21), Six (18), Ace (16), Five (15), Four (14), Three (13), Two (12), King (10), Queen (10), Jack (10).

The game continues until a predetermined point total is reached, typically 11, 15, or 21 points. The player who reaches the target score first wins the game.
