Scopone

Scopone è un gioco di carte italiano, variante della popolare scopa, dove si gioca esclusivamente in quattro a coppie di due.

Due sono le tipologie di gioco disponibili, SCOPONE SCIENTIFICO e SCOPONE NORMALE O ANCHE DETTO SEMPLICE, che si differenziano a seconda del numero di carte che vengono distribuite dal mazziere all'inizio di ogni smazzata di carte.

E' possibile personalizzare la modalità di gioco modificando opportunamente le seguenti impostazioni:

- il punteggio di fine partita: 21, 31 oppure 51 punti;

- la tipologia di gioco: SCOPONE SCIENTIFICO oppure NORMALE;

- le varianti di gioco: NAPOLA, REBELLO, ASSO PIGLIA TUTTO e SBARAZZINO o SCOPA D'ASSI;

- il mazzo di carte a scelta tra le sette tipologie messe a disposizione: bergamasche, francesi, napoletane, piacentine, siciliane, toscane e trevisane;

- la velocità delle animazioni e gli effetti audio.

Il gioco è corredato da una STATISTICA e da una CLASSIFICA dove ci si può confrontare con i propri amici e con tutti gli altri giocatori amanti di questo gioco.

Scopone is a traditional Italian card game that is typically played with four players in two partnerships. The game is played with a standard deck of 40 Italian cards, which are divided into four suits: denari (coins), bastoni (clubs), spade (spades), and coppe (cups). Each suit contains 10 cards, numbered from 1 to 10, and three face cards: the jack, the queen, and the king.

Objective

The objective of Scopone is to be the first partnership to score 61 points. Points are earned by capturing cards and forming combinations.

Setup

To start the game, the deck is shuffled and each player is dealt 10 cards. The remaining 10 cards are placed face down in the center of the table to form the "monte."

Gameplay

The game is played in a series of rounds. On each round, one player leads by playing a card from their hand. The other players must then follow suit, if possible. If a player cannot follow suit, they may discard any card.

The highest card of the suit led wins the trick. The player who wins the trick collects the cards and places them in a pile in front of them.

Combinations

There are several combinations that can be formed in Scopone, which are worth different points:

* Scopa: A scopa is formed when a player captures all the cards of a suit. A scopa is worth 1 point.

* Primiera: A primiera is formed when a player captures the seven of spades and the seven of hearts. A primiera is worth 2 points.

* Settebello: A settebello is formed when a player captures all seven cards of a suit. A settebello is worth 3 points.

* Napoli: A napoli is formed when a player captures all four aces. A napoli is worth 4 points.

* Diciotto: A diciotto is formed when a player captures cards that total 18 points. A diciotto is worth 1 point.

Monte

The monte can be captured by a player who plays a card that matches the rank of the top card of the monte. For example, if the top card of the monte is the seven of spades, a player can capture the monte by playing the seven of hearts.

Scoring

At the end of each round, the players count the points they have earned from their combinations. The partnership with the most points wins the round and earns 1 point. The first partnership to score 61 points wins the game.
