Еспресо is a popular card game played with a standard 52-card deck. It is a trick-taking game, similar to Hearts or Spades, but with some unique rules and strategies.

Objective

The objective of Еспресо is to be the first player or team to reach a predetermined number of points, typically 100 or 200. Points are earned by taking tricks and capturing special cards.

Setup

* Use a standard 52-card deck.

* Deal 13 cards to each player.

* The remaining cards form the stock pile.

Gameplay

1. Bidding: Players bid on how many tricks they believe they can take. The minimum bid is 0, and the maximum bid is 13.

2. Lead: The player with the highest bid leads the first trick by playing any card.

3. Following Suit: Players must follow suit if possible. If a player cannot follow suit, they can play any card, including a trump card.

4. Trump: The trump suit is determined by the last card played in the previous trick. If no card has been played, the trump suit is the suit of the card led.

5. Trick-Taking: The highest card of the suit led wins the trick, unless a trump card is played. The player who wins the trick leads the next one.

Special Cards

* Ace of Spades: Worth 11 points.

* King of Spades: Worth 4 points.

* Queen of Spades: Worth 3 points.

* Jack of Spades: Worth 2 points.

* Trump Ace: Worth 1 point.

Scoring

* Each trick taken: 1 point

* Ace of Spades: 11 points

* King of Spades: 4 points

* Queen of Spades: 3 points

* Jack of Spades: 2 points

* Trump Ace: 1 point

Winning

The first player or team to reach the predetermined score wins the game. If a team bids 13 and takes all 13 tricks, they earn a special bonus of 100 points.
