* Objective: Create the longest, highest-scoring word possible while following etiquette rules.
* Setup: Players receive 7 letter tiles each. A random tile is drawn to start the game.
* Gameplay: Players take turns placing tiles on the board. Tiles can be placed adjacent to existing tiles to form new words.
* Etiquette Rules:
* Connecting Words: Tiles must connect to at least one other tile to form a valid word.
* No Overlapping: Tiles cannot overlap each other.
* No Floating Words: Words must be connected to at least one other word on the board.
* No Diagonal Words: Words cannot be formed diagonally.
* No Proper Nouns: Proper nouns (e.g., names, places) are not allowed.
* Scoring:
* Letter Value: Each letter has a point value.
* Word Length: Longer words earn more points.
* Bonus Points: Certain tiles, such as blanks and wildcards, provide bonus points.
* Challenge: Players can challenge an opponent's word if they believe it violates the etiquette rules. If the challenge is successful, the opponent loses their turn and the tile is removed from the board.
Strategy:
* Plan Ahead: Consider the potential words you can form with your tiles and the tiles on the board.
* Connect to High-Value Tiles: Place tiles near high-value letters or bonus tiles to maximize your score.
* Use Blanks Wisely: Blank tiles can be used as any letter, so use them strategically to complete high-scoring words.
* Challenge Opponents: If you believe an opponent has violated an etiquette rule, don't hesitate to challenge them.
* Block Opponents: Place tiles to block opponents from forming high-scoring words or connecting to bonus tiles.
Variations:
* Team Play: Players can team up to form words together.
* Timed Games: Players have a limited amount of time to place their tiles.
* Tournament Mode: Players compete in a series of rounds to determine the overall winner.
