Hosgram is a captivating strategy board game that challenges players to outmaneuver their opponents and capture their territories. Set on a hexagonal grid, the game combines elements of strategy, spatial reasoning, and resource management.

Gameplay

Players begin with a set number of units, represented by pieces on the board. Each turn, players can move their units to adjacent hexes, capturing any opponent's units that they encounter. Captured units are removed from the board.

The goal of the game is to control the most territories by the end of the game. Territories are defined as groups of connected hexes that are all controlled by a single player.

Special Rules

Hosgram introduces several unique rules that add depth and complexity to the gameplay:

* Territory Control: Players gain control of a territory by having the majority of units in all the hexes within that territory.

* Hostile Units: Units can only move through hexes controlled by their own player or neutral hexes. If a unit moves into a hex controlled by an opponent, it becomes "hostile" and is unable to move until the opponent's units are removed from the hex.

* Reinforcements: Players can produce new units from their headquarters, which are located on the edges of the board. The number of units produced each turn is determined by the player's income, which is generated by controlling territories.

* Unit Upgrades: Players can upgrade their units by spending resources. Upgrades can enhance a unit's movement range, attack power, or defensive capabilities.

Winning

The game ends when one player controls a majority of the territories on the board. Alternatively, a player can win by eliminating all of their opponents' units.

Hosgram requires players to develop a well-rounded strategy that encompasses:

* Territory Expansion: Players must prioritize capturing and expanding their territories to increase their income and unit production.

* Hostile Control: Managing hostile units is crucial to prevent them from disrupting your plans.

* Resource Management: Wisely allocating resources for unit production and upgrades is essential for maintaining a strong military force.

* Adaptability: The game situation can change rapidly, so players must be prepared to adapt their strategy accordingly.
