Gameplay

Kangaroo is a classic arcade game released in 1982 by Atari. Players control a kangaroo named Skippy, who must jump over obstacles and collect food while navigating a series of platforms. The goal is to reach the end of each level without falling off or running out of time.

Controls

* Joystick: Move Skippy left and right.

* Button: Jump.

Obstacles

Kangaroo faces various obstacles, including:

* Spikes: Touching spikes causes Skippy to lose a life.

* Pits: Falling into pits also results in losing a life.

* Enemies: Birds, snakes, and other creatures can harm Skippy if he touches them.

Food

Skippy can collect food items to earn points and extend his time limit:

* Fruits: Worth 100 points each.

* Vegetables: Worth 200 points each.

* Power-ups: Give Skippy special abilities, such as increased jump height or invincibility.

Levels

Kangaroo features 16 levels, each with its own unique layout and challenges. The levels become progressively more difficult as Skippy advances.

Power-ups

Power-ups appear randomly throughout the levels and can provide Skippy with temporary advantages:

* Super Jump: Allows Skippy to jump higher.

* Invulnerability: Makes Skippy immune to damage.

* Speed Boost: Increases Skippy's movement speed.

* Time Bonus: Extends Skippy's time limit.

Scoring

Players earn points by collecting food and clearing levels. Bonus points are awarded for completing levels quickly and without losing lives.
