Overview

Krowd is a thrilling multiplayer social deduction game where players collaborate to complete tasks while uncovering hidden traitors among them. Inspired by the classic board game Mafia, Krowd brings the experience to a digital platform, allowing players worldwide to engage in intense rounds of deception, suspicion, and deduction.

Gameplay

The game consists of two distinct roles: Crewmates and Impostors. Crewmates work together to repair the spaceship by completing a series of tasks, while Impostors attempt to sabotage their efforts and eliminate Crewmates without being detected.

At the start of each round, players are randomly assigned roles. Crewmates are given a set of tasks to complete, which vary depending on the map and game mode. Impostors, on the other hand, have the ability to sabotage the ship, kill Crewmates, and create distractions.

Communication and Deduction

Communication is crucial in Krowd. Crewmates must work together to identify suspicious behavior and determine who the Impostors are. They can communicate via text chat, voice chat, or the use of emotes.

Deduction plays a significant role in uncovering the Impostors. Crewmates must pay attention to the actions of other players, their alibis, and any inconsistencies in their behavior. Impostors, in turn, must be cunning and adapt to the evolving suspicions of the Crewmates.

Voting and Ejections

Periodically, players can call for emergency meetings to discuss their suspicions and vote on who they believe is an Impostor. If a majority of players agree, the suspected player is ejected from the spaceship. If the ejected player was an Impostor, the Crewmates gain an advantage. However, if an innocent Crewmate is ejected, the Impostors gain a strategic edge.

Maps and Game Modes

Krowd features a variety of maps and game modes to provide diverse and engaging experiences. Maps include The Skeld, Mira HQ, and Polus, each with its unique layout and challenges. Game modes include Classic, Hide and Seek, and Town of Salem, offering variations in gameplay and objectives.

Customization and Progression

Players can customize their characters with various hats, skins, and pets. As they play and earn experience, they can unlock new cosmetics and rewards. Krowd also features a progression system that tracks player performance and rewards them for completing tasks, winning rounds, and contributing to the community.

Community and Social Features

Krowd fosters a vibrant community of players who engage in public lobbies, create private games with friends, and participate in tournaments and events. The game features a built-in chat system, allowing players to connect with each other outside of gameplay.
