Pepper is a simple card game that is enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a great game for beginners, as it is easy to learn and play. Pepper can be played with 2-4 players.

Objective

The objective of Pepper is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards.

Setup

To set up the game, each player is dealt 13 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a pile in the center of the table.

Gameplay

The player to the left of the dealer starts the game by playing a card. The next player must play a card of the same suit, if possible. If a player cannot play a card of the same suit, they must draw a card from the pile in the center of the table.

If a player plays a card that matches the rank of the card that was played previously, they can "pepper" the player who played the previous card. This means that the player who was peppered must draw two cards from the pile in the center of the table.

The game continues until one player gets rid of all of their cards.

Scoring

The player who gets rid of all of their cards first wins the game. The other players receive penalty points for the cards that they have left in their hands.
