Fantastic tool for signage to better support reduced risk to all on work site

There is strong anecdotal evidence that immigrant / culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) workers are at greater risk of injury and illness in the workplace. Developed in New Zealand this app is a powerful tool to assist users with identifying and understanding health and safety industry signage.The app is for those workplace and industry environments which utilise and display health and safety signs and alerts. Health and safety signs make employees and visitors aware of (1) dangerous items or behaviours which are prohibited, and (2) potential dangers and hazards ahead. All stakeholders including employers, industry, regulators, workers and visitors have a responsibility to keep the environment and themselves safe.

Users take a photo of a sign (e.g. ) the app then uses AR technology to scan the database for a the photographed sign. Once the sign is matched with one in the database, the meaning of the sign is displayed on screen to the user in the selected language.
