Introduction

Slivki is a popular card game of Russian origin that combines elements of rummy and poker. The game is played with a standard 52-card deck and can be enjoyed by 2 to 6 players.

Gameplay

The objective of Slivki is to be the first player to collect all 13 cards of a single suit. The game begins with each player being dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center of the table to form the draw pile.

On their turn, a player may choose to draw a card from either the draw pile or the top of the discard pile. If they draw a card that completes a suit, they can immediately lay it down on the table.

If a player cannot make a suit, they must discard one card face up on the discard pile. The game continues in this manner until one player collects all 13 cards of a suit.

Special Cards

Slivki features two special cards that can affect the gameplay:

* The Jack of Spades: This card can be used as any card to complete a suit.

* The Joker: This card can be used to represent any card, including the Jack of Spades.

Scoring

The player who collects all 13 cards of a suit first wins the game and receives 1 point. If a player has not collected any suits by the end of the game, they receive a penalty of 1 point.

The game is typically played to a predetermined number of points, such as 10 or 15. The player with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner.

Variations

There are numerous variations of Slivki, including:
