Wonder is a strategic card game for 2-5 players aged 10 and up, designed by Antoine Bauza and published by Asmodee. The game simulates the development of ancient civilizations over three ages, with players competing to build the most impressive wonders and achieve the highest score.

Gameplay

Each player begins the game with a hand of cards and a Wonder board representing one of the seven ancient civilizations: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Babylonia, Persia, China, or Japan. The game is played over three ages, with each age consisting of six rounds.

During each round, players simultaneously select a card from their hand and play it face down. The cards can be used to:

* Develop Science: Gain science tokens, which can be used to build Wonders and advance on the military and science tracks.

* Build Wonders: Construct Wonders, which provide victory points and special abilities.

* Wage War: Attack other players' Wonders or military forces, potentially earning victory points and hindering their progress.

* Trade: Exchange resources with other players or the bank.

* Build Structures: Erect structures that provide various benefits, such as bonus production or protection from attacks.

Victory Conditions

The game ends at the end of the third age. Players score victory points for building Wonders, advancing on the military and science tracks, and possessing gold and victory point cards. The player with the most victory points wins the game.
