Preferabli

Objective

Preferabli is a card game where players aim to collect the most valuable sets of cards. The game ends when one player reaches a predetermined score, typically 1000 points.

Setup

* A standard deck of 52 playing cards is used.

* The cards are shuffled and dealt evenly among the players.

* The remaining cards form the draw pile.

Gameplay

* The player to the left of the dealer starts the game.

* On their turn, a player can:

* Play a set: A set consists of three or more cards of the same rank (e.g., three Aces) or three or more cards of the same suit in sequence (e.g., 2, 3, 4 of Hearts). The player lays the set face up on the table and receives points for it.

* Draw a card: The player takes the top card from the draw pile.

* Pass: The player does nothing and ends their turn.

Scoring

* Sets of Rank: 3 cards = 5 points, 4 cards = 10 points, 5 cards = 15 points

* Sets of Suit: 3 cards = 10 points, 4 cards = 15 points, 5 cards = 20 points

* Pairs: 2 cards of the same rank = 2 points

Special Rules

* Preferabli: If a player plays a set of three or more Queens, they receive 25 points and can immediately draw a new card.

* Block: If a player has a set of three or more cards, they can block an opponent from playing a set of the same rank or suit.

* Flush: If a player plays a set of five cards of the same suit, they receive a bonus of 50 points.

Winning

The game continues until one player reaches the target score. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.
