Overview

ბორბალო is a traditional Georgian card game that combines elements of rummy and poker. It is played with a standard 52-card deck and is typically played by four players in two partnerships.

Objective

The objective of ბორბალო is to be the first partnership to collect all 13 cards of a suit or to have the highest-scoring hand at the end of the game.

Gameplay

The game begins with each player being dealt 13 cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in a pile called the "stock."

Players take turns drawing a card from either the stock or the discard pile. If a player can form a combination of three or more cards, they can lay it face up on the table. Combinations include:

* Set: Three or four cards of the same rank

* Run: Three or more cards in sequence

* Flush: Three or more cards of the same suit

Players can also capture cards from other players' combinations by adding a card to extend the set or run.

Scoring

When a partnership collects all 13 cards of a suit, they score 10 points. If a partnership does not collect all 13 cards of a suit, their score is based on the highest-scoring combination they have laid down.

The scoring for combinations is as follows:

* Set: 1 point

* Run: 1 point per card

* Flush: 3 points

* Straight flush: 10 points

Winning

The partnership that first reaches 100 points wins the game. If no partnership reaches 100 points after a certain number of rounds, the partnership with the highest score wins.
