Introduction

Dummy & Toon Poker ดัมมี่ทุย is a popular card game in Thailand that combines elements of rummy and poker. It is a fast-paced and exciting game that can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels.

Objective

The objective of Dummy & Toon Poker is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards. Players do this by forming melds, which are sets of three or more cards of the same rank or suit.

Setup

Dummy & Toon Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. Two to six players can play the game. Each player is dealt 13 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a draw pile in the center of the table.

Gameplay

The game begins with the player to the left of the dealer. On their turn, a player can do one of the following:

* Draw a card: The player can draw the top card from the draw pile.

* Meld: The player can meld a set of three or more cards of the same rank or suit.

* Lay off: The player can lay off cards on melds that have already been played.

* Go out: The player can go out if they have no cards left in their hand.

Melds

There are two types of melds in Dummy & Toon Poker:

* Sets: A set is a group of three or more cards of the same rank.

* Runs: A run is a group of three or more cards of the same suit in sequential order.

Toon Poker

In addition to the standard Dummy rules, Dummy & Toon Poker also includes a Toon Poker element. This element allows players to bet on the strength of their hands.

Betting

Players can bet on the strength of their hands at any time during the game. The minimum bet is 1 chip, and the maximum bet is 10 chips.

Showdown

If two or more players bet on the strength of their hands, they must show their hands to determine the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.

Winning

The first player to get rid of all of their cards wins the game. If two or more players go out at the same time, the player with the highest-scoring hand wins.
