How to Play
The game features two roles: searcher and hiders. The hiders' goal is to remain hidden from the searcher throughout the game while staying within the designated play area. The searchers' goal is to locate the hiders in real life with the help of the app and tag all of them within the game's time limit.
When a searcher finds a hider, they tag them using the app by clicking 'Gottcha.' If the hider is within a 20-meter radius of the searcher, they are eliminated from the game, ensuring that the searcher won't cheat.
Player Limit
The game supports a maximum of 10 players, with a maximum of 1 searcher and 9 hiders.
Game Area
As the game progresses, the game area will gradually shrink, requiring hiders to remain active and constantly on the move. The game area shrinks every 5 minutes, and hiders must always stay within the area to avoid elimination.
Game Duration
We have now released more customizations for game-time. It is now possible to play three different game durations: 10 minutes, 20 minutes, and 30 minutes.
Additional Functionality
With each reduction of the game area (every 5 minutes), hiders' locations are briefly revealed to the searcher for 10 seconds. This added functionality adds an extra layer of excitement and challenge to the game.

Gotcha: A Thrilling Game of Strategy and DeductionGotcha is a captivating game of deduction and strategy that pits players against each other in a thrilling race to unmask their opponents' secret identities. Each player assumes the role of a secret agent, assigned a unique code name known only to themselves. The goal is to identify all other agents while protecting their own identity.
Gameplay
The game begins with players receiving a deck of cards, each containing a different code name. One player is designated as the "Spymaster," who provides clues to their teammates, known as "Agents." The Spymaster gives one-word clues that can refer to multiple cards in the Agents' decks. Agents must then attempt to identify their own code names and those of their teammates based on the clues provided.
Clues and Guesses
The Spymaster's clues can be any word or phrase, as long as it does not directly match any code name. Agents can guess their own code names or those of their teammates. If an Agent guesses their own code name, they are out of the game. If an Agent guesses a teammate's code name, that teammate is revealed and can continue playing.
The Red Herring
The game introduces a unique element known as the "Red Herring," a card that represents an unknown agent. Agents can guess the Red Herring at any time, but if they are incorrect, the game ends immediately. This adds an element of suspense and forces players to carefully consider their guesses.
Winning and Losing
The game continues until either one team identifies all of the opposing agents' code names or the Red Herring is correctly guessed. If a team successfully uncovers all the opposing agents, they win the game. If the Red Herring is guessed, the game ends immediately, and the opposing team wins.
Strategy and Deduction
Gotcha requires a combination of strategic thinking and deductive reasoning. Players must carefully consider the clues given by their Spymaster, identify patterns, and eliminate possibilities. The ability to anticipate the opposing team's strategies and predict their guesses is crucial for success.
Communication and Trust
Effective communication between the Spymaster and Agents is essential. Spymasters must provide clear and concise clues, while Agents must actively listen and collaborate to deduce their identities. Trust between teammates is paramount, as incorrect guesses can lead to the team's demise.
Variations and Expansions
Gotcha has spawned several variations and expansions that introduce new elements to the gameplay. These include different deck sizes, special abilities, and additional game modes, offering players a wide range of options to customize their experience.
Conclusion
Gotcha is a highly engaging and challenging game that combines strategy, deduction, and communication. Its simple yet effective gameplay makes it accessible to players of all skill levels, while its depth and replayability ensure endless hours of entertainment. Whether played casually with friends or competitively in tournaments, Gotcha remains a beloved classic in the world of board games.
