Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Ingress Prime, a mobile augmented reality game developed and published by Niantic, immerses players in a global struggle for control of Exotic Matter (XM), a mysterious energy permeating the world. Players choose a faction, either the Enlightened or the Resistance, and engage in territorial warfare by capturing and linking Portals, virtual locations tied to real-world landmarks.

The core gameplay revolves around interacting with these Portals, which appear at places of cultural significance like statues, murals, and unique architectural features. Players physically travel to these locations to "hack" Portals, collecting XM and items like Resonators, which are used to capture and control the Portals for their faction. Eight Resonators are required to fully deploy a Portal, strengthening its control and making it more resistant to enemy attacks.

Once a Portal is controlled by a faction, players can link it to other captured Portals, creating Control Fields. These triangular fields blanket areas of the map, signifying territorial dominance and contributing to the global Mind Unit (MU) score for each faction. The faction with the higher MU score is deemed to be winning the global struggle.

The two factions, the Enlightened and the Resistance, represent opposing philosophies regarding XM's influence on humanity. The Enlightened believe XM offers the potential for human evolution and enlightenment, embracing its power. The Resistance, conversely, views XM as a potential threat to human free will and seeks to control and restrict its influence. This philosophical divide fuels the ongoing conflict between the two factions.

Ingress Prime utilizes a sophisticated scanner interface, displaying a stylized map of the surrounding area, highlighting Portals, links, and Control Fields. Players navigate the real world, their movements reflected in the game, allowing them to interact with Portals within their vicinity. The scanner also provides information on Portal levels, ownership, and resonator health, allowing players to strategize their attacks and defenses.

Strategic gameplay is crucial in Ingress Prime. Players must coordinate with their faction members to plan attacks, defend key Portals, and establish large Control Fields. Communication within local and regional communities is essential for coordinating operations and maximizing territorial gains. Organized events, both online and in the real world, further enhance the social aspect of the game.

Beyond capturing and linking Portals, players can deploy various items to enhance their gameplay. XMP Bursters are offensive weapons used to attack enemy Resonators, weakening and ultimately destroying them to reclaim Portals. Ultra Strikes offer a more powerful, localized attack option. Shields protect Resonators from enemy attacks, increasing their resilience. Players can also utilize items like Portal Keys, which allow them to remotely recharge Resonators and link Portals from a distance.

Progression in Ingress Prime is marked by achieving higher access levels. Players gain Access Points (AP) by performing various actions, such as capturing Portals, linking Portals, and destroying enemy Resonators. Higher access levels unlock access to more powerful items and greater strategic capabilities, allowing players to contribute more effectively to their faction's efforts.
