Minesweeper is an adaptation of the original game for mobile devices. If you were a fan of the Windows game and want to relive the same tense yet thrilling experience, then look no further. This title makes it possible to enjoy the game wherever you go, without the need for an internet connection and with a nice and attractive design. Download Minesweeper and watch your step as you solve every level.
The gameplay in this Android version is exactly the same as in the traditional game; you have to tap on the squares to reveal what's hidden behind them and unlock areas of the board depending on the numbers you see in them. If you've never played Minesweeper before you can learn as you go or complete a tutorial to help you understand the way it works.
One of the great things about this game is that it lets you choose between three different difficulty levels: beginner, medium and expert. You can choose whatever level you want to start the game, but if you've never played before or you're a little rusty, it's a good idea to start at the lowest difficulty level.
In Minesweeper you'll earn small helpers that can get you out of a sticky situation when you need it most. As you complete the levels you'll earn points that will help you move up the general scoreboard. There, you can compare yourself to the most efficient players in avoiding mines. Enjoy this classic among classics and get as far as possible by clearing entire levels without accidentally stepping on any mines.
MinesweeperMinesweeper is a classic single-player logic puzzle game where the objective is to uncover all squares in a rectangular grid without detonating any of the hidden mines.
Gameplay
The game is played on a grid with a predetermined number of mines randomly placed in some squares. The remaining squares contain numbers indicating the number of mines adjacent to them (including diagonally).
Starting the Game
The player starts by clicking on any square. If the square contains a mine, the game ends immediately. Otherwise, the square is revealed and the number of adjacent mines is displayed.
Uncovering Squares
To uncover a square, the player clicks on it. If the square is adjacent to a mine, the number of adjacent mines is revealed. If the square is not adjacent to any mines, it is revealed as blank.
Flagging Mines
If the player believes a square contains a mine, they can right-click on it to flag it. Flagged squares are not uncovered and do not contribute to the game's progress.
Winning the Game
The player wins the game when all non-mine squares have been uncovered.
Losing the Game
The player loses the game if they uncover a square containing a mine.
Tips for Playing
* Start by uncovering squares around the edges of the grid, as they are less likely to contain mines.
* Pay attention to the numbers revealed when you uncover squares. These numbers can help you deduce the location of nearby mines.
* If you are unsure about whether a square contains a mine, flag it.
* Use logic to eliminate possible mine locations. For example, if a square has a "1" next to it, then the only adjacent square that can contain a mine is the one not adjacent to the "1".
* Don't guess randomly. If you are unsure about a square, it is better to flag it and continue playing.
Variations
There are many variations of Minesweeper, including different grid sizes, numbers of mines, and gameplay modes. Some variations also introduce additional obstacles, such as walls or hidden objects.
