How to play?

To be the Skibo winner, be the first player to play all cards in your stockpile by playing cards in the order of numbers from 1 to 12.

Wild cards in the pack bring in interesting twists & turns.

When there are 2 – 4 players, the dealer deals 30 cards to each player.

Cards dealt face down and become your STOCKPILE.

The dealer places the remainder of the deck face down in the center of the play area for DRAW Pile.

During play, 4 Building piles will also be created for all players.

Building Piles:

👉 During play, up to 4 building piles can be started

👉 ONLY a 1 or a WILD CARD card can start a BUILDING pile

👉 Pile is built numerically in sequence

👉 Once a pile has 12 cards (1 to 12), it is removed, new pile started in its place

How to win?

Skibo is a fast-paced and exciting card game that combines strategy, skill, and a touch of luck. The game is suitable for 2 to 4 players aged 7 and up, making it an excellent choice for families and friends.

Objective

The goal of Skibo is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards.

Setup

Each player receives a deck of cards consisting of 30 cards in four different suits (green, red, yellow, and blue). The remaining cards are placed in a draw pile in the center of the table.

Gameplay

The game starts with each player holding their deck of cards. On their turn, a player can take one of the following actions:

* Play a card on the tableau: Players can play a card from their hand onto one of the four tableau piles. The cards in the tableau piles must be built in ascending order (e.g., a 2 can be placed on a 1, a 3 can be placed on a 2, and so on). The suits of the cards do not matter.

* Play a card on the foundation: Players can also play a card from their hand onto one of the four foundation piles. The cards in the foundation piles must be built in ascending order and in suit (e.g., a green 2 can be placed on a green 1, a green 3 can be placed on a green 2, and so on).

* Draw a card: If a player cannot play a card, they must draw a card from the draw pile.

Special Cards

Skibo includes several special cards that can add excitement and strategy to the game:

* Skip: This card allows a player to skip their turn.

* Reverse: This card reverses the direction of play.

* Wild: This card can be played on any card, regardless of suit or number.

Scoring

The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game. If two or more players get rid of their cards at the same time, the player with the lowest total score wins. The score is calculated by adding up the numbers on the cards remaining in the players' hands.
