Solitaire Tripeaks is a captivating card game that combines strategy and luck. The objective is to clear all the cards from the game board by strategically matching cards from the tableau with cards from the stock or waste piles.

Game Setup

The game begins with a pyramid of cards known as the tableau. Each card in the tableau is partially visible, and some cards are covered by other cards. Below the tableau are two piles: the stock pile and the waste pile. The stock pile contains the remaining cards that have not been dealt. The waste pile is where cards are temporarily placed when they are removed from the tableau.

Gameplay Mechanics

To remove cards from the tableau, players must select cards that are one rank higher or one rank lower than the card at the top of the waste pile. For example, if the top card on the waste pile is a 6, players can remove any 5s or 7s from the tableau.

When a card is removed from the tableau, the card beneath it becomes visible. If the revealed card can be matched with the top card on the waste pile, it can also be removed. This process continues until no more cards can be matched.

If players cannot find any cards to match, they can draw a card from the stock pile. The drawn card is placed on the waste pile and becomes the new top card. Players can continue drawing cards from the stock pile until it is empty.

Scoring

Players earn points for each card they remove from the tableau. The value of each card is determined by its rank, with aces being worth 1 point and kings being worth 13 points.

Winning and Losing

The game is won when all the cards have been removed from the tableau. The game is lost when there are no more moves available and the stock pile is empty.
