BASIC RULES:

• Roles: You can be either a Civilian, an Undercover or Mr.White.

• Get your secret word: Pass the phone around to let each player choose their name and get a secret word! Civilians all receive the same word, the Undercover gets a slightly different word, and Mr.White gets no word at all…

• Describe your word: One by one, each player must give a short truthful description of their word. Mr.White must improvise.

• Time to vote: After discussion, vote to eliminate the person that seems to have a different word from yours. The app will then reveal the eliminated player’s role!

Tip: Mr.White wins if he guesses the Civilians' word correctly!

Overview

Undercover: The Forgetful Spy is a captivating board game designed for 3-8 players, offering a blend of deception, deduction, and memory challenges. Players take on the roles of spies attempting to uncover the secret identities of their fellow agents while navigating the complexities of a rapidly changing world.

Gameplay

At the start of the game, each player receives a secret identity card that designates them as either an undercover agent or a bystander. The undercover agents are further divided into two teams: Red and Blue. The game unfolds over a series of rounds, with each round consisting of two phases:

1. Mission Phase:

* One player is designated as the "spymaster" for the current round.

* The spymaster receives a "mission card" that specifies the number and color of undercover agents they need to contact during the round.

* The spymaster gives one-word clues to their team, attempting to guide them towards the correct agents without revealing their identities to the bystanders.

2. Discussion Phase:

* Players discuss the clues given by the spymaster and try to determine which agents match the mission requirements.

* Players can question each other, challenge identities, and attempt to deceive the opposing team.

* Once a player believes they have identified an undercover agent, they can "interrogate" them. If the interrogation is successful, the player learns the true identity of the agent.

Winning Conditions

The game ends when one of the following conditions is met:

* Red Team Victory: The Red team successfully contacts all of their undercover agents.

* Blue Team Victory: The Blue team successfully contacts all of their undercover agents.

* Bystander Victory: The bystanders correctly identify all of the undercover agents.
