Introduction

Tuš klub is a popular card game played in Slovenia, Croatia, and other parts of Europe. It is a trick-taking game for four players in two partnerships. The game is played with a deck of 32 cards, consisting of eight suits of four cards each. The suits are: hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades, bells, acorns, leaves, and thistles.

Objective

The objective of Tuš klub is to be the first partnership to reach 500 points. Points are scored by taking tricks and by capturing special cards.

Gameplay

The game begins with the dealer dealing eight cards to each player. The player to the left of the dealer leads with any card. The other players must follow suit if possible. If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any card. The highest card of the suit led wins the trick. The player who wins the trick leads the next card.

There are a number of special cards in Tuš klub that can affect the gameplay. These cards include:

* Aces: Aces are the highest cards in the game. They can be used to lead a trick or to trump other cards.

* Kings: Kings are the second highest cards in the game. They can be used to trump other cards, but they cannot lead a trick.

* Queens: Queens are the third highest cards in the game. They can be used to trump other cards, but they cannot lead a trick or trump an ace.

* Jacks: Jacks are the fourth highest cards in the game. They can be used to trump other cards, but they cannot lead a trick or trump an ace or king.

* Tens: Tens are the fifth highest cards in the game. They can be used to trump other cards, but they cannot lead a trick or trump an ace, king, or queen.

* Nines: Nines are the sixth highest cards in the game. They can be used to trump other cards, but they cannot lead a trick or trump an ace, king, queen, or ten.

* Eights: Eights are the seventh highest cards in the game. They can be used to trump other cards, but they cannot lead a trick or trump an ace, king, queen, ten, or nine.

* Sevens: Sevens are the lowest cards in the game. They cannot be used to trump other cards.

Scoring

Points are scored in Tuš klub by taking tricks and by capturing special cards.

* Tricks: Each trick taken is worth 10 points.

* Aces: Each ace captured is worth 11 points.

* Kings: Each king captured is worth 4 points.

* Queens: Each queen captured is worth 3 points.

* Jacks: Each jack captured is worth 2 points.

* Tens: Each ten captured is worth 1 point.

Winning

The first partnership to reach 500 points wins the game.
